Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of animals, including dogs and cats. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who have a passion for working with animals and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims
- Handle animals with care and compassion throughout the grooming process
- Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and any specific instructions or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners' questions and concerns

Skills:

-Strong grooming skills (school credentials)
- Strong dog handling skills
- Knowledge of dog training techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., large dogs) as needed
- Experience in pet sitting or working in a kennel environment is beneficial
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or in a veterinary setting is advantageous
- Excellent pet care knowledge and understanding of different breeds' grooming requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction

Pay: $16.62 - $20.00 per hour
